I got this for my sister while we traveled the winding roads in Scotland, because she easily gets car sick. She used to use sea bands, and take gravol/ Dramamine to deal with it.She said that for this trip, not only was her nausea reduced, but it was eliminated.She noted that she had to figure out how to set the intensity. The little blue dot kept moving around, as if it was waiting for her to press the button again. Then once she pressed it, she could press it more times to increase the intensity. Also, she moved it around in her wrist until she could feel it on her middle finger. As long as it was placed there, it really worked for her.We had an enjoyable trip and she didn’t have to worry about car sickness for the full two weeks.It is a bit pricey, but she was happy to have it.I was afraid of seasickness on a catamaran trip with friends. Weather in BVI caused higher than expected waves and rocked the catamaran. I get very easily nauseated, but the band worked wonders and I was even able to go below deck.My wife just used this on a cruise. It worked!I feel calmer when I wear the band . I also sleep better after wearing the band during the day . Comfortable and easy to use .I had two versions of the original which worked well. I bought this version and, even on the highest setting, I can barely feel a pulse. The original at 3 out of 5 is stronger than 6 of 6 on this. This version has stainless steel contacts vs. copper/nickel on the original. Why did I try this?First version didn't have changeable batteries and died.Second one, the battery cover was damaged and wouldn't stay shut, the band holders dig into my wrist and I preferred the look of the new one. I'm very disappointed.It didn't work for me but I get exercise endured nauseous.Did not help my pregnancy nausea
