I am a guy with a lot of nervous energy but I could feel that dissolve while reading this book. Dr. Wegesin has done a great job providing scientific reasons behind anxiety and easy tools to relieve it anywhere and by yourself. (My favorites are the Acceptance Tool and the Kindness Tool as they helped me shift my perspective and expectations to be more realistic and constructive.) The guided meditation download links were also a handy resource. I loved the bits of humor sprinkled among the tools. It is like being with a patient friend who is helping you to help yourself. Get this book for yourself or for someone who may be struggling and not have any positive way to relieve the anxiety.
