This is a wonderful book. It doesn't provide a quick fix for anxiety, but if you are willing (and desperate enough) to take the time to think through the issues raised and try some of the technique suggested, it can be life-changing.The author shares his clients' and his own personal experiences in a compassionate, caring way, and I found that healing in itself.The assumption is that all of us who are dealing with anxiety have a hard time accepting and loving ourselves just as we are. Dr. Bourne provides some powerful tools to start doing just that.The chapters I found most useful and/or thought-provoking were those on meditation and spirituality, but the whole book is great.Highly recommended!
